. Dear Nancy, . It's been thirty-some years since I sat in front of a mike at the AFRS Studio in Saigon and literally hundreds of times, played request for "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'." When I'd go into the field to interview the troops I found they certainly loved you (and of course, so did the DJ's). . With your seductive voice, beautiful face and figure, and your give-em-hell attitude, what wasn't there to love? A year of two ago, your photo spread in Playboy proved that you're still just as beautiful as ever and, from what veterans tell me when I attend various reunions, they love you, now, even more because of all that you've done over the years for the vets. . I wish I were able to be there in person to congratulate you but, since I can't, I guess this letter will have to do for now. .
