WHEREAS,  Nancy Sinatra has shown her support for American soldiers by her performances and hospital visits in the Republic of Vietnam during the Vietnam War; and  

WHEREAS, Nancy Sinatra has shown her support for American veterans by her visits to Veterans Administration Hospitals; and  

WHEREAS,  Nancy Sinatra has shown her continued support for Vietnam Era Veterans by endorsing Internet projects pertaining to Vietnam Era Veterans; and  

WHEREAS,  Nancy Sinatra unselfishly continues to work toward helping all Veterans unite in brotherhood to help preserve issues pertaining to their benefits and prosperity;   

NOW, THEREFORE, I, James Doyle, President, Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc., California State Council, proclaim on this day, Saturday, June 27, 1998 in Ontario, California that Nancy Sinatra is an honored and esteemed friend of Vietnam Era Veterans. I call upon the members of Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc. to pay tribute to this noble professional for all that she has done to improve the image and condition of the Vietnam Era Veteran.
