Barney and Friends Movies and Specials

Apart from the regular episodes, the Barney and Friends movies and specials are also in high demand.

Back in 1998 Barney’s Adventure was released starring Kyla Pratt and Trevor Morgan. In this film the children are dropped off by their parents at their grandparents’ farm and the big brother is hit in the face by a baseball by accident. While the others laugh, their brother loses his patients and takes the Barney doll away. Cody asks the other children to use their imagination and that’s when Barney makes an appearance. Like in the episodes, the film will end with Barney turning back into a doll.

This film was followed by Barney’s Big Surprise and four years later by Barney’s Imagination Island and Barney Live in New York. The structure of these movies is not completely different from the standard format but the plots are really entertaining and diverse. All Barney films and specials, which can be purchased on DVD, are very popular with kids all around the world.
